Book will go to print this week!

Hi there,

So a quick update - the book is all done now, waiting for a final proof run.

We had Phil King write our foreword for this one - he was editor of ZZAP! 64 in 1992 for a number of issues. I am hoping Gary will be available for Volume 2 - Issue 49 onwards!!

I am planning for the book to go to print this week and it is now 132 pages in length due to the extended diaries of Andrew Braybrook. It should then take about 6 weeks to come back from the printers.

Seeing all Oli's art page after page is very, very special.

Cheers, Chris

Andrew Braybrook's diary is with us....

unedited from his original text sent to Newsfield back in the day, and formatted by our Ben. Coming in at 31 pages, I think the phrase is "We need a bigger boat!"

Here are the first 9 pages as a sneek preview...

The pagination of the book is going to be a little bigger than I first thought, as I feel all these pages should be in the Legacy book for all to see and read.

Book is coming along nicely -the aim now is to get it to print by the end of the month if we can with it coming back back sometime in October.

Regards, Chris

A quick update...

Hi there,

Thanks for supporting this campaign. We have all the text by Ian Osborne and images from Gary Arnott, so the book is currently in production.

The funds have now arrived - I am currently putting the Backerkit survey together - this will go out hopefully in the next few days. I hope to offer some more signed framed prints as part of the survey - so watch out for that.

Once the 48 issue are formated in the book, I will send a few more example pages. Time to talk to Andrew Braybrook about those diaries, and give Gary a nudge for the foreword!

Thanks again, Chris
